Graduate case studies
Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.
I am responsible for teaching A-Level Economics and leading a team of three Economics teachers. I am also a personal tutor to ten A-Level students choosing their university courses.
A typical day will consist of teaching two hour lessons and seeing personal tutees. My day also includes managing the Economics team and administration duties.
No two days are the same. It is a constantly changing and challenging job.

Practising in the subject area that I am deeply interested in and seeing students develop into their chosen career paths.

I worked in finance in London for two years after completing my masters. I then switched careers and pursued my passion for education. I completed my PGCE in Post-Compulsory education in 2015 at the Institute of Education.
I am planning to study for a PhD in Economics within the next five years. I will continue my career in education and progress onto the next stage of management.
Get as much experience as possible.
