Challenging aspects

Hitachi is big conglomerate and at times can be very forward thinking but at times can be very traditional. Finding the balance and pushing things along can sometimes be like pushing treacle up hill.

Why did this area of work appeal to me?

Undergraduate degree and first Masters in Physics and second Masters in East Asian Business gives me the right mix of technical and business knowledge to work in technology transfer, cross-border business development and management consulting. My work with Hitachi focuses on developing start-from-zero projects in social innovation bringing together a large number of Hitachi businesses and the scale of projects and their social impact is very large - one of the key things that originally attracted me to it.

Undergraduate degree and first Masters in Physics and Second Masters in East Asian Business. Business development, negotiations, marketing, PR, project management, advertising, BPR, etc.
