During my Master's degree project at the University of Sheffield, I had gained a lot of interest in understanding disease processes. I wanted to pursue this interest further and hence I chose the next logical step which was to pursue a PhD degree.

Post my Postgraduate degree, I completed my PG Diploma in Hospital Administration (PGDHA) from the well renowned Apollo group of hospitals. This was from November 2012 until October 2013. I had taken a break for a few months during which I was applying for my doctoral degree. I joined my current University for my PhD degree in the month of July 2014.

It would honestly be great if I can get a Post-Doctoral Fellowship after I have completed my doctoral studies. As for the bigger picture, I would most certainly want to pursue a career in research with the R&D of a well-established company or in a health care based set up.
