Graduate case studies
Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.
I am an associate in the Financial Markets Litigation team. This involves representing banks and other financial institutions in relation to disputes, claims and regulatory investigations.
A typical day might involve advising a client on the strength of their case; researching the relevant law; gathering evidence including interviewing witnesses; developing case strategies; managing court proceedings and/or alternative dispute resolution; representing clients at pre-trial hearings and case management conferences; liaising with and briefing barristers; attending trial, arbitrations and mediations with clients.
