Main responsibilities

- Junior Associate for Managing Partner;
- Handling Shipping Arbitration/Dispute resolution work.

Typical day

0840 - arrive in office;
0840-0900 - ADMIN: Read E-mails, Coffee, Plan Day ahead;
0900-1300 - Drafting/Court Attendances/Client meetings;
1300-1400 - Grab lunch to eat at desk while reading e-mails that have come in;
1400-1800 - Drafting/Court Attendances/Client meetings;
1800-1900 - Grab dinner;
1900-2300 - Proper research for drafting/advice.

- 2016 - 2017 - Relevant Legal Trainee at law firm;
2017 - Bar Exams;
2018 - Training Contract at law firm;
2018 August - Called to Singapore Bar;
2018 July - Oct - Research Assistant at National University of Singapore;
2018 Oct - Associate at HHP.

Where do I see myself in the future?

Hopefully in-house counsel for shipping firm in 3-4 years time.
