The social side of an advertising agency is great fun. People who go into this industry have a lot of energy and are always open to doing things. It's not the sort of job where people clock off at 5:30 and go their own separate ways.
Managing my time. It's fast-paced and you have to hit deadlines and turn things around quickly.

Having worked in agency-side marketing for a couple of years I would like my next move to be to client-side marketing, working as a Brand Manager or similar.
It would be great to work on a brand you have a real passion for.
The best advice I could give is to try as much as you can while you're still at uni. I didn't always want to go into marketing but there was a job available there and luckily, it suited me. If you can leave uni having a rough idea of the industry you want to be in - and actually know what the job entails, i.e get work experience, you will be on your way.
