Main responsibilities

Being in charge of business fields, including: oil & gas; wooden products; hotel & restaurant; bidding packages; site & office leasing.

Typical day

• Oil & gas: set/update discount policy, competitive and in accordance with regulations and competitors’ discount policies; compose business plan so as the company provides budget for meeting customers’ demand; work with authorities to add locations to oil retailing system, then to level up to national distributor; negotiate with suppliers and customers for high quantity orders; promote investment cooperation in trading hub; complete legal profile of oil vessels;
• Wooden products: negotiate to supply wooden products such as wooden panels and wooden pallet; calculate break even points so as to determine acceptable price of wood material; plan procuring machine/equipment and expanding factory/storage in order to meet customer’s order; participate in interviewing management board of wood processing factories;
• Hotel & Restaurant: evaluate and compare profitability of each item in order to focus on the most efficient ones; take full advantages of business relationship to attract customers to buy products and services of Anh Phat hotel and restaurant;
• Bidding packages: implement bidding process, starting from taking care of strategic partners, building and expanding information network, negotiating, completing bidding profile, to establishing implemenation capacity;
• Site & office leasing: negoticate to buy liquidated office and equipments; negotiate to lease office to contractors providing services in operation phase of refinery company; do procurement for office and accommodation for lease;

Where do I see myself in the future?

I plan to maintain current job to gain more experience for 3 years. During this time, I will also complete the degree of accounting and gain two additional certificate of software engineering course. I can see that I will end up start up a business in one of fields I have been getting involved so far.
