Graduate case studies
Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.
Undertake meetings, off-the-record discussions with key business leaders in each country that I am posted to. I then work with a team of analysts to write up comprehensive analysis on a number of sectors in each country's economy.
There is no typical day at Oxford Business Group, however much of my day involves doing a number of meetings with key movers of the economy, having off-the-record discussions about a number of topics involving economics, politics and society.
Sometimes a day involves participating in conferences and listening to talks from both national and international actors. Undertaking market research and understanding the dynamics of the market is obviously a constant task. Constantly planning and evaluating our editorial strategy, chasing interviewees, preparing questions and writing up analysis.
Getting to meet the most important decision makers in each country I visit, from the Head of State to private sector actors, you get paid to learn in a very detailed way about the ins and outs of each economy.
The hours and the responsibility that comes with producing such a comprehensive report on so many aspects of a country.
The most important skill of mine that I use is my ability to speak Spanish.
