I wanted to work in academia

I worked as a consultant for the International Labor Office in Chile, developing documents regarding the eradication of child labour (for two years before starting my PhD).

I would like to become a lecturer and continue doing research in political philosophy. I intend to start a postdoc after working for one or two years.

It is very relevant to try to think ahead and prepare realistic plans. Keeping in touch with lecturers that can provide good advice, who know the area and requirements necessary. Also, to work on papers that could be published whilst doing your research (parallel work).
