Main responsibilities

I am the technical director and deputy chief of party. I am responsible for the overall technical direction of the project.

As a management and technical member of staff, I do a wide range of managerial and technical activities

I love to impact on the lives of individuals and the generality of the population, to make the world a happier and healthy place to live

Skills/qualifications I use in my job?

Public Health, project management, and monitoring and evaluation skills. My qualifications of being a medical doctor and a public health physician are quite useful


Career information

Brief history since leaving University

I have worked with several NGOs since my graduation from the University of Sheffield. I worked with Medecins sans Frontieres (Doctors without Borders) during the Lead Poisoning Outbreak in Northern Nigeria (2010), Family Health International (2010- 2011), the US department of Defense Walter Reed Program Nigeria (2011- 2017), and this current position (since February, 2017)

Where do I see myself in the future?

I see myself in higher places........
I wish to pursue a Ph.D, should I secure funding (I love to go into Health Economics)


Advice to students

My piece of advice to students

Just like our motto says, rerum cognoscere causas, which means 'to discover the causes of things'. All students should study deeply to discover the cause of things!

It was great experience in Sheffield that I look forward to repeating in the nearest future
