About the job

Main responsibilities

Upgrading legacy Control systems software and hardware at Melbourne clean water treatment site. Documentation, software designing, testing (iFAT / cFAT), site commissioning (SAT) and hand over.
Software used -
Rockwell Studio5000 Logix Designer, RSLogix5, FTView ME, RSTestStand, RSNetworx for ControlNet.
Hardware used -
Rockwell ControlLogix, PLC5, PanelView Plus.
Processes -
Rapid Gravity Filters (RGF), Backwashing, Inlet Works and Coagulant Dosing.

Typical day

A typical day I can involved in any of the following.
Writing PLC, HMI and/or SCADA software.
Testing PLC, HMI and/or SCADA software in office or on site sometimes with customer witnessed.
Creating specification documents and other documents for control systems (FDS, IO schedules, Test documents etc).
