Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.

About the job

Main responsibilities

Trainer for undergraduate students, my work includes teaching the module "field practice" and guide the students through there practice in schools.

Typical day

Supervise students in schools and evaluate there progress during the module "field practice", arrange meetings with students and discuss there progress throughout the field practice. I provide some academic research for students in order for them to develop their skills in teaching special educational needs students.

What do I enjoy about my job?

To develop the future teachers skills in order to create a better life for students with special educational needs.

Challenging aspects

That i have to develop my skills which I also enjoy.

Why did this area of work appeal to me?

Because of my experience and my qualifications.

Skills/qualifications I use in my job?

The experience of teaching special educational needs students, teaching methods, and my experience that i gained through my master degree.

2013 teacher of intellectually disabled students "slow learners" - Kuwait
2016 a senior teacher at Al-noor school for blinds - Kuwait
2017 trainer at the public authority for applied education and training- College of Basic Education- Kuwait

Where do I see myself in the future?

I really plan to have further study and finish my PhD, I plan to become an assistant professor in Curriculum Studies.
