Graduate case studies
Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.

Worked for a church in Cornwall part time from Sept 2011- Jan 2012 then full time Jan 2012 - Feb 2013. They ran a community charity and I was office based. Then I moved back up to Sheffield to start work with the CAB.
Developing more of the communications side of my role, assisting third sector organisations to communicate their message effectively to others. Further study into this area too.
Choose a subject that gives you opportunities to progress in the fields that you are interested in. I love working with charities, Bibs was great for this as it gave a wide range of skills and knowledge base to help in my job roles now.
It took me a while to figure out what area I wanted to get into, I had a few false starts! I would really get students to research and get work experience in the areas they are interested in to see if its for them. It saves a whole lot of time!
