Advice to students

My piece of advice to students

Spend time understanding how to communicate science at a level that people understand. Academics sometime forget the "man in the street" isn't a scientist and using fancy words or scientific notations doesn't always work when trying to convey science to the masses. In fact, many are put off by it.
