Brief history since leaving University

Two years as a newspaper reporter with Media Wales, producing national newspaper for Wales the Western Mail and Wales on Sunday, and regional papers.

Trinity Mirror prof exams to become a senior reporter and news desk progression.

Where do I see myself in the future?

About to interview for a news desk job with the BBC, writing hourly bulletins and reporting.


Advice to students

My piece of advice to students

Try for anything and everything, for interview experience if nothing else. Have a thick skin, don't take rejection personally because it happens to all of us.
