About the role
We are seeking a talented communications assistant to join our External Relations team. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a passion for crafting compelling messages that resonate with our target audience. You will play a crucial role in developing and executing our communication strategies, ensuring that our brand message is effectively delivered across all channels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support company goals and objectives
- Create high-quality content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media updates
- Manage and maintain the company's website and social media channels
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets
- Coordinate internal and external communications, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination
- Monitor and analyse communication metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Contribute to the development of branding and marketing campaigns
What you will have
- A degree, any discipline, 2:2 or above
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices
- Project management skills, able to organise own work and meet tight deadlines
- Creative and innovative thinker
- Research and analytical skills
