Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.

About the job

Main responsibilities

Advise clients in relation to relationship breakdown, whether that be divorce, financial separation, unmarried couples separation, child arrangements or nuptial agreements.

Typical day

Calls, emails and meetings with clients and barristers, as well as preparing and considering documents. Attending court.

Brief history since leaving University

LPC - College of Law, London
Training contract - High street firm in Cambridge
Post qualification, working at a regional firm in South London for 18 months, then at a High Street practice in Hertfordshire for 18 months before starting at Stowe Family Law.
