I am currently employed as a Researcher at National Laboratory Astana and Ph.D. Candidate in School of Engineering at Nazarbayev University. I contributed to the development of energy system models for Kazakhstan to assist decision makers in energy and climate planning. I was leading research projects on the development of the TIMES Kazakhstan (one region model) (2011-2013) and on the development of the TIMES 16 regions model (2014-2016), which was implemented at Nazarbayev University. I have five peer-reviewed papers in international scientific journals and she delivered many presentations at various international and local Conferences. I am a review expert of greenhouse gases emissions projections for UNFCCC. Aiymgul Kerimray has Professional Certificate “Energy Auditing of Buildings in Kazakhstan” issued by ENSI – Energy Saving International AS. I am a reviewer for international scientific journals. In 2017 I was appointed as a country expert for Kazakhstan in EU4ENERGY Programme implemented by the International Energy Agency.

I would like to continue the research in the field of energy and environment. I would like to apply for a PostDoc position and become a Professor.
