Graduate case studies
Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.
In charge of the instrumentation activities within the project to ensure the practical finishing of the assigned projects.
- Have morning meeting with the counterpart from the contractor(s).
- Discuss the issues related to the Instrumentation and how to manage them.
- Set a plan and way forward for to enhance the work progress.
- Eliminate any obstacles liaising with the other departments.
- Report to management on the progress and any further requirements for further progression.
- Clear any pending issues or remove list items from the record to ensure the completion of the project.
The challenges which are faced on a daily basis and working hard to resolve them.
Dealing with different contractors every time.
The changing the nature of the project requirements, from gas to oil and vice versa.

2016 to present: working on a crucial gas/oil project.
Currently work as Construction Instrument Engineer ( Field Instrument Engineer).
Aim to be a Lead Instrument Engineer.
Hope to get chance to finish an MBA.
Hope to get a chance to do a PhD in Control and Automation.
Studying the subject thoroughly will provide a better opportunity to fully understand the theories and associated practices related to engineering works. It can also provide the basic skills to manage and enhance the various projects you are likely to be working on in this role.
