Masters in International Marketing
About the qualification

Why do this course?

I wanted to expand my knowledge in marketing as I felt like the University of Sheffield gave me a general knowledge about this field and I wanted to dig even deeper.

Career information

Brief history since leaving University

After I left the university, I worked as a Marketing Assistant in a start up where my main responsibilities were building marketing strategy for the company and building content for social media channels.

After that, I started working for Bacardi as a Marketing Assistant where my main duties included working closely with Country Brand Manager on marketing promotion campaigns for 4 main brands and doing market research for further strategy.

As I felt that I was ready to work in the marketing field but didn't have enough qualifications for that, I applied to study Marketing at Hult International Business School. At Hult I am working on real-life projects with companies such as Google, IBM etc. and I've gained so much knowledge that I've opened a blog with my partner and it is growing bigger every day, turning it into a small community here in Boston. Many principles that I am learning now, I've applied to the blog.

Where do I see myself in the future?

After my graduation, I will be looking for a job as an Account Manager in local Boston-based advertising agencies, and in the future I see myself as an Account Director or Creative Director in advertising/digital agency in the U.S. or Canada.

Advice to students

My piece of advice to students

Start early. Try using all resources you have at the university which can help you determine what is your dream career, and maybe you can work on a small project that will help you get more knowledge to get closer to that job. Don't forget to meet new people and learn something new from them.
