Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.

As a co-founder, my responsibilities are spread far and wide. Everything from marketing and sales to recruitment, product management and customer support.

Most days I'll be doing a combination of dealing with customers and providing demos of the software, managing advertising campaigns and working on website content and copy.

After leaving university I spent a lot of time immersing myself in the world of online marketing on my own time, and later had a couple of online advertising-based jobs. Upon leaving my most recent position, I began working on RotaCloud full-time with my two co-founders. The business started in our bedrooms and we now have a team of 11 and over 1100 businesses paying to use the platform.

I'll remain in the position that I'm in for the foreseeable future as we continue to grow the business and expand our team. I can't imagine going back into employment having had the experience I've had with RotaCloud thus far.
