Worked in healthcare setting whilst undertaking access degree before commencing BSc course in Midwifery

Consultant level midwife or working as part of an independent practice

Get a scope for sciences and communication under your belt as these are must have qualifications in this profession. Be prepared to give everything and work very very hard whilst studying. You have to really love and want to be a midwife but if you do it is worth it.
