Typical day

On any given day, I'll be involved in a range of digital marketing projects. I work closely with 6 or 7 other departments, supporting their web content strategy. This can involve helping them to plan projects, editing web content, lending technical content management system (CMS) support, coding HTML, reviewing work and reporting on projects/website sections.
I also administrate one of our analytics packages, checking the website for broken links and misspellings.
I write 2 internal blogs - one about CMS use/web content, and one about content marketing.
On top of the day-to-day work (where I oversee around 5,000 webpages in total), I also have personal projects, usually with a more strategic view. For example, I recently wrote a content marketing strategy, that took a few months to formulate, write and distribute around the organisation.
My day is split into working with my team, supporting other departments and my personal work. All based around digital content - some tactical, day-to-day editing, some strategic thinking/learning.
