Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.
Conduct Insolvency Assignments and Litigation cases on behalf of clients including Indivduals, Companies and Insolvency Practitioners.
A typical day can be anything from drafting legal documents, attending meetings or mediations to appearing in Court with or without Counsel. Last year a case concluded after a 17 day trial and a hearing before the Court of Appeal.

Completerd the Legal Practice Course at Sheffield University 2001
Completed Training Contract at Andrew Jackson Solicitors, Hull 2001 -2003
Qualified with current firm in 2003 and have remained eversince becoming a Partner last May.
In July this year we will merge with Wilkin Chapman LLP and I will become a Partner in that firm.
Training to become an Authorised Insolvency Practitioner by passing the JIEB exams
Training Contracts are more difficult to obtain than ever before. Think whether you really want to do this as a career before the LPC. Dont specialise too early but have an idea what you want to do.
