Even though many of our graduates will have progressed in their careers since completing a case study, they are still of interest to students who wish to gain an understanding of the world of work.
Teaching 20 hours a week of Mathematics including ATAR Methods course. Acting subject leader for two terms in 2016.

Make sure that you get as much experience at University as you can, such as volunteering and work placements. It is really essential to make your CV stand out, especially in today's job climate.
Don't be afraid to try out new and innovative teaching ideas. When you stop trying to improve and try new things, that's when teaching decreases in quality.
Moving to Western Australia 2 years ago was the best move we made. The curriculum is very similar to the UK. However there are very few sixth form colleges. Students go straight from year 12 to University, so be prepared to teach the equivalent of A-level if you move here.
