Lecturer in Early Childhood Education.
Lecturing on the MA in Early Childhood Education and the BA in Education, Culture and Childhood.
PhD Student supervisor.
Researcher.

Researcher.
Teaching.
Writing articles, chapters and books.
Responding to student emails and other course related admin.

What do I enjoy about my job?

I like the balance of the different aspects of the job. That is the research, working in the community, working with students, teaching and writing.

Skills/qualifications I use in my job?

Skills gained during the comptetion of my PhD. Specifically research methods and means of analysis.


Advice to students

My piece of advice to students

Publish alongside completing your PhD. This will be necessary for future employment in academic institutions but will also give you good feedback from journal reviewers which you can feedback into your studies.
