Brazil has the eighth largest GDP in the world. It is classified as an upper-middle income economy by the World Bank and a newly industrialised country, with the largest share of global wealth in Latin America.

Brazil manufactures and exports electrical machinery, paints, soaps, medicines, chemicals, aircraft, steel, food products, and paper. It also produces textiles, clothing, and footwear.
